Earth Day Celebration

The Meadows, known for it’s beautiful green spaces, pristine waterways, acres of mature canopied oaks, and preservation of habitats for fish, birds and other wildlife.
Join us on Saturday, April 22 as we celebrate National Earth Day and pay homage to our beautiful community. We kick off the event with a Dedication and tree planting at 10 AM followed by some fun, and engaging Earth Day activities. Take part in a Nature Walk hosted by the Meadows Garden Club, Assist in building a Bee Hotel, Learn about composting, Listen to some nature poetry from the Poetry Group, Enjoy an acoustic performance from a local Folk Artist, Make a pine cone bird feeder and so much more! Call of the Wild Presentation by David Mann, PhD at 12 PM in Lakeside Room. Viewing of Wall-E at 1:15 PM in Lakeside to follow.
You will not want to miss out on this great family event. Fun for all ages. Please bring your own refillable water bottles to help maintain an Eco-Friendly event.
10 AM – 1 PM on the campus of MCA Administrative offices.
